GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. The following publications are available via the Marine Corps Doctrine Website https:(slant slant)usmc.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/MCEN_Support_MCDoctrine:
1.a. Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 3-40B.2, Environmental Considerations (Ch 1), was approved on 13 May 2022. This publication supersedes MCRP 3-40B.2, Environmental Considerations, dated 10 August 2015. MCRP 3-40B.2 defines environmental considerations and provides guidance on integrating them into the operations. It also explains how Marine Corps commanders can develop and implement command environmental programs and standard operating procedures. This publication supports MCRP 3-34.3, Engineer Reconnaissance, and Joint Publication 3-34, Joint Engineer Operations.
1.b. MCRP 3-31.3, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (MTTP) for Joint Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses, was approved on 9 June 2022. This publication supersedes MCRP 3-31, MTTP for Joint Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses, dated 15 December 2015. It provides tactical-level commanders and their staffs a single, consolidated reference to conduct joint suppression of enemy air defenses (J-SEAD) operations. This publication will enable rapid integration of joint all-domain (air, land, maritime, space, and cyberspace) assets conducting SEAD operations in a contested environment. MCRP 3-31.3 supports tactical to operational-level commanders / staffs, planners, and warfighters by providing MTTP for executing J-SEAD operations.
1.c. Marine Corps Tactical Publication (MCTP) 3-34A, Combined Arms Mobility, was approved on 10 June 2022. This publication supersedes MCTP 3-34A, Combined Arms Mobility, dated 8 March 2016. It provides information on combined arms mobility missions, tasks, and activities executed by corps, divisions, brigade combat teams / regimental landing teams, battalions / task forces, and associated enablers. MCTP 3-34A provides commanders and staffs with the information needed to conduct the combined arms missions that overcome obstacles and enable maneuver (breaching and gap crossing) and those that primarily enable movement (clearing, constructing, and maintaining combat roads and trails; constructing forward airfields and landing zones; and conducting traffic management and enforcement). The principal audiences for this publication are maneuver commanders, staffs, and engineers who plan and execute mobility in deep, close, and support areas while synchronizing enablers and warfighting functions.
1.d. MCTP 3-02A, Network Engagement: Targeting and Engaging Networks, was approved on 25 June 2022. This publication supersedes MCTP 3-02A, Marine Air-Ground Task Force Network Engagement Activities, dated 27 June 2017. It presents planning, execution, and assessment activities for network engagement and synchronizing activities across any operational environment. Network engagement utilizes traditional staff processes and complements effective command and control. MCTP 3-02A’s key audience includes the commanders and staffs of Marine expeditionary forces, major subordinate commands, and infantry regiments and battalions.
