The FY22-02 Test Pilot School (TPS) selection board convened on 30 August 2022 aboard Naval Air Station Patuxent River in accordance with the references and authorization to select primary and alternate officers to attend US Naval Test Pilot School (TPS) Class 164. 2. Officers selected must contact their monitor, stating acceptance of school assignment orders within 10 business days of the release of this message. 5. The quantity and type, model, series (T/M/S) selection for applicants is based upon anticipated testing requirements for aircraft procurement programs. Because testing requirements change, the quantity and T/M/S to be selected can and does change up to the date of the board. For this reason, all interested pilots and NFOs were encouraged to submit packages. Officers who submitted packages but were not selected and desire to be considered on future boards are required to re-submit their application, including online applications, and all required enclosures and command endorsements. 6.
