The reference established the mandatory possession date for the new female dress blue coat (FDBC) as 1 October 2022, and the obsoletion date of the old female dress blue coat as 30 September 2022. Due to supply chain issues, there is a shortage of the new FDBC in many military clothing facilities. Due to this shortage, the mandatory possession date for the new FDBC has been extended to 1 April 2023.
