GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  I am pleased to congratulate the FY 22 Marine Corps Enlisted Aide Of The Year Award, Gunnery Sergeant Eva M. Castillo, Enlisted Aide to General Berger, Commandant of the Marine Corps, U.S. Marine Corps.
2.  This award recognizes excellence and outstanding dedication to duty for Food Service Enlisted Aide professionals.  Professionalism, commitment to excellence, devotion to duty, and technical expertise are the qualities that provide a firm base for the Marine Corps Enlisted Aide community.
3.  Gunnery Sergeant Eva M. Castillo will be competing for the 2022 DOD EAOTY board that will be conducted on January 16th 2023 at 1400 at the Ritz-Carlton, Arlington VA and Award Ceremony will take place 17 January 2023 at 1000 at the Pentagon at the Hall of Heroes hosted by Chef Robert Irvine Foundation & Veteran's Support Network.  This event is hosted by the Veteran's Support Network (VSN), recognizing the nation’s elite Military Chefs and their volunteer commitment to service.
