2.  The OWLS provides military women the opportunity to network with like-minded colleagues and to grow professionally and personally through keynote messages, workshops, and panel discussions.  The speakers are leaders from the military, public, and private sectors who offer their support and personal advice.  Participants will have tremendous opportunities for mentorship, while connecting with veteran and current military women at every level of leadership and from every Military Service.  OWLS is a non-federal entity wholly independent of the Marine Corps.  More information can be found on the Academy Women website at www.MilitaryOWLS.org.
3.  Headquarters United States Marine Corps’ Opportunity, Diversity, and Inclusion Branch (MPE) will sponsor 45 (20 in person, 25 virtual) conference/registration fees and travel expenses to include per diem (lodging reimbursement is limited to the government rate and travelers must utilize the integrated lodging program), mileage, and airfare for this event.  Commands may authorize rental cars using unit funds.
