GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  On January 15, 2023, we mark the 44th birthday of the Religious Program Specialist Rating.  On this day, we commemorate the dedication of our Religious Program Specialists and their support to Marines, Sailors, and their families.   
2.  Religious Program Specialists are crucial to the Spiritual Fitness of our Marine Corps and allow commanders to better support the free exercise of religion.
3.  As program management experts, Religious Program Specialists significantly enhance the delivery of the Chaplain Corps' Core Competencies of Provide, Care, Facilitate, and Advise.
4.  Religious Program Specialists are an essential part of our Sea Service.  Their selfless service is a point of pride for Marines everywhere.
