GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The following publications are available via the Marine Corps Doctrine Website https:(slant)(slant)usmc.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/MCEN_Support_MCDoctrine:
1.a.  Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 3-30B.1, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (MTTP) for Multi-Service Brevity Codes, was approved on 7 March 2023.  It supersedes MCRP 3-30B.1, MTTP for Multi-Service Brevity Codes, dated 28 May 2020.  This publication standardizes air-to-air, air-to-surface, surface-to-air, surface-to-surface, maritime-to-air, and maritime-to-maritime brevity codes regardless of communication medium (voice/chat), and tactical chat specific brevity codes.  The scope is limited to brevity codes used in multi-Service operations.  This publication is for Service members conducting tactical-level operations.
1.b.  Marine Corps Tactical Publication (MCTP) 3-10C, Employment of Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAV), was approved on 30 January 2023.  It supersedes MCTP 3-10C, Employment of AAV, dated 4 August 2020.  MCTP 3-10C provides the basis for, and addresses the mechanized capability of, the assault amphibian unit, section, and platoon in support of Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) or ground combat element (GCE) missions.  The target audience is officers and staff noncommissioned officers on MAGTF and GCE staffs and in assault amphibian battalions.  It provides best practices and planning considerations for AAV employment during military operations across the competition continuum.
