GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Per reference (a), this message announces the First Annual Marine Corps Association (MCA) Training and Education Awards Program winners and awards ceremony.
2. Commanding General, TECOM (CG, TECOM) takes pleasure in congratulating the following Marines/civilians on their selection for superior leadership, outstanding instruction, and professional contribution within the respective instructor community:
2.a. Marksmanship/Coach Instructor of the Year: Sergeant Samuel L. Mullis – Weapons and Field Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island.
2.b. Formal School Instructor of the Year: Gunnery Sergeant Shannell M. Styczynski – Marine Corps Combat Service Support School (MCCSSS), Training Command (TRNGCMD)

3.a. These awardees will be honored at the MCA Training and Education Awards Dinner on 10 August 2023 at the Crystal Gateway Marriot 1700 Richmond Highway Arlington, VA.

3.c. Logistics for awardees will be disseminated via separate correspondence.
3.d. The uniform for this event is the service Alpha uniform or service equivalent for TECOM Marines and Sailors in attendance and business attire for civilians.
