GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Per the references, the purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce the names of Marine Officers selected by the May 2023 Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) Aviation Acquisition Assignment Slating Panel for assignment to O-6 major program manager command.  The panel, composed of Navy and Marine Corps personnel, screened Marine Corps, Navy, and civilian applicants for assignment to acquisition command.
2.  The panel selected the following Marine Corps officers as approved by the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) for command of Acquisition Category I (ACAT I) programs (read in two columns):

3.  MMOA will place a letter in the official military personnel file of each officer in para 2 noting their selection for acquisition command.
4.  Selectees will schedule attendance at Cornerstone:  The Commandant's Combined Commandership Course prior to, or shortly after, assuming duties or upon course availability.  The program consists of two courses conducted concurrently aboard MCB Quantico: a ten-day commander's course and a five-day spouses workshop.  These courses are conducted semiannually.  Reference (e) announces course dates.  Selectees can reach the point of contact for the course by commercial phone at (703) 784-9753, (703) 784-2134, or by email at MCU_LLI@usmc.mil.
