GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  This MARADMIN establishes timelines regarding requests for Official Representation Funds (ORF) for fiscal year 2024 (FY24).
2.  Background.  The Director, Marine Corps Staff (DMCS) manages ORF distribution for Headquarters Marine Corps and Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs).
3.  Execution.  In accordance with enclosure (7) of the reference, requests for ORF are submitted to ASN (FM&C) for each fiscal year.
3.a.  In order to facilitate ORF requests to ASN (FM&C), DMCS will use ETMS2 (TMT) to task and receive requests for FY24 no later than 18 August 2023.  Upon the receipt of requests for FY24, DMCS will consolidate the Service's request to ASN (FM&C).
3.b.  An ETMS2 (TMT) tasker will be issued upon the release of this MARADMIN.
3.c.  Failure to respond by the deadline may result in FY24 ORF not being allocated.
3.d.  Upon ASN (FM&C) notification of FY24 ORF amounts DMCS will coordinate, as necessary, to address any differences between requested and authorized amounts.
4.  HQMC agencies and MSCs that receive ORF are required to establish a Government Purchase Card account for ORF expenditures in order to receive their allocations.  ORF will not be distributed until a payment vehicle in established.
5.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
