NARR/REF A ANNOUNCES THE SOLICITATON FOR EOA OF THE YEAR//
GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Purpose. This MARADMIN announces the results of the FY23 Equal Opportunity Advisor of the Year Selection Board.
2.  Background. The EOA of the Year Award recognizes outstanding performance within the 0147 active duty force.
3.  Per the reference, on 26 July 2023, a selection board convened to consider the nominations submitted. All nominees had exemplary records which demonstrated a consistently high level of performance that significantly and positively impacted their commands’ Equal Opportunity programs. The board selected MSgt Estee M. FortunadoFranco, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan as the EOA of the year.
4.  Presentation of the award will be at the FY23 Equal Opportunity Advisors Symposium on 23 August 2023.
5.  Congratulations to MSgt Estee M. FortunadoFranco and all who were nominated. Your performance in this vital area is commendable and directly impacts not only your command, but the entire Marine Corps in a positive manner.
