GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  On behalf of all Marines, it is my privilege to congratulate the United States Air Force on its 76th birthday.
2.  Since 18 September 1947, the United States Air Force has projected American might throughout the world.  The tireless devotion of America's Airmen has given the United States unparalleled capabilities in combat, humanitarian assistance, and deterrence.  Marines are proud to have shared the skies with you in combat over Korea, Vietnam, the Middle East, and with your forebears over the Pacific during World War II, and in Europe during World War I.
3.  By staying true to your core values, "integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do," the men and women of the Air Force have kept the United States at the leading edge of airpower.  As you celebrate your proud heritage, know that all Marines honor your service and sacrifice.  Aim high, Airmen.
