GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  As directed by the reference, an assumption of command message is hereby promulgated.  Effective 22 September 2023, I have assumed all duties as the 39th Commandant of the Marine Corps.  All effective orders and directives issued while serving as Acting Commandant, remain in effect.
