GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Purpose. Marine Aviation has provided the lion’s share of firepower and mobility to the MAGTF for over 111 years. Today, the Marine Aviation Enterprise is comprised of almost 40,000 Marines, each who play a vital role in our continued success. It is important we recognize those individuals and units whose service over the past year has been the best in their respective area. Nobody has a more robust awards recognition program than the Marine Corps Aviation Awards Program, sponsored by the Marine Corps Aviation Association… and rightly so. This MARADMIN solicits nominations for the annual Marine Corps Aviation Awards, to be presented during the 2024 Marine Corps Aviation Association Annual Symposium in Dallas, TX, being held in May 2024. These prestigious awards recognize those Marines and units that have distinguished themselves as the best in Marine aviation during the award period from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
