GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Headquarters United States Marine Corps (HQMC) Semper Fit Branch is seeking applications from Marines interested in participating on the 2023 All-Marine Esports Team.  Esports are multiplayer video games played competitively for spectators, typically by professional gamers.
2.  The All-Marine Esports Qualifier will be hosted online on 21 October 2023 at https:(slash)(slash)defensegaming.com.  Marines selected from the qualifying event will compete on the All-Marine Esports Team and travel to the Armed Forces Championship hosted by the United States Navy in Frisco, TX 30 October – 5 November 2023.
3.  To the fullest extent possible, commanding officers should support Marines who exhibit superior performance of specific esport skills and are encouraged to sign the All-Marine Sport application at https:(slash)(slash)quantico.usmc-mccs.org/recreation-fitness/recreation/sports/all-marine-sports, which authorizes potential TAD for Marines.
4.  Interested Marines submit application directly to Semper Fit Branch no later than 18 October 2023.  Please email completed applications to ombmccssportsapplications@usmc-mccs.org.
5.  To be considered for participation, applicant include:
5.a.  Completed application.
5.b.  Personal esports experience/bio.
5.c.  Proof of participation in esports tournaments.
6.    If selected by HQMC Semper Fit Branch to participate:
6.a.  Marines are required to have a valid Government Travel Charge Card and an active Defense Travel System account.
6.b.  HQMC Semper Fit will fund the travel costs associated with this event.
7.  This MARADMIN is applicable to Active Duty, Active Reserve, Activated Reserve, and Marines on Active Duty Operational Support Orders.
