GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Purpose. To reauthorize the Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) Program.
2.  Background. Reference (a) provides Marine Corps guidance for the administration of the HDP-T Program.  Per reference (b), the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs reauthorized the Department of the Navy’s program for payment of HDP-T for an additional five-year period.
3.  Policy. Effective 1 October 2023, the payment of HDP-T to eligible Marines is reauthorized through 1 October 2028.
4.  Reference (a) is hereby cancelled.
5.  This MARADMIN applies to all active and reserve component Marines.
