GENTEXT/RMKS/1. Purpose. This MARADMIN provides background information on the Intelligence Oversight training requirements and responsibilities incumbent on all USMC intelligence professionals.
2. Background. In accordance with refs (a) and (d), Intelligence Oversight annual training is required of all uniformed Marines, civilian Marines, and contractors working for the USMC who are assigned or attached to an intelligence unit. This directive also applies to personnel performing intelligence work as an additional duty, even if they are not assigned to an intelligence unit or billet.
3. Execution.
3.a. The Intelligence Oversight annual training is fulfilled by successful completion of the online Annual Intelligence Oversight Training course currently available via MarineNet at https:(slash)(slash)portal.marinenet.usmc.mil/content/mnet-portal/en/catalog/coursedetails.html?courseid=cb536883-529f-453d-bbad-3d186063d5d0.
3.b. The course takes approximately one hour to complete. Completion status will be captured in the individual’s MarineNet profile and recorded also in the Marine Corps Total Force System for proper documentation by unit training managers. NOTE: Course completions remain valid for one year after completion.
3.c. The previous version of this course (available on the Moodle instance of MarineNet) is discontinued effective 03 November 2023.
