GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) requires high caliber company grade officers for assignment as Recruiting Station (RS) Operations Officers (OpsOs), Executive Officers (XOs), and Officer Selection Officers (OSOs) across the nation who are dedicated to recruiting high quality men and women to earn the title "Marine." A panel consisting of staff from Manpower Management Officer Assignments (MMOA) and MCRC convened from 23 to 27 October 2023 to identify and select 61 officers from over 700 eligible officers for assignment during Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24).

3. Alternates
3.a. The list of officers selected as alternates will be published via the MMOA website on the FY24 MCRC Company Grade Selection panel information page. The alternate list will be published at the following CAC protected website: https:(slash)(slash)www.manpower.usmc.mil/webcenter/portal/MMOA3_BUI/pages_mcrccompanygradeboard. The list will be posted alphabetically by full name and MOS. No action is required by officers on this list. PMOS monitors will contact officers if a need arises for an alternate to fleet up to fill a vacancy.
4. The release of this MARADMIN is considered official notification of orders for officers listed in paragraph 2. Officers selected by this panel will be issued orders to report NLT 31 May 2024 unless instructed otherwise by your monitor. Headquarters Marine Corps will not accept deferrals. Consideration will be given to those in deployed status and unable to execute orders. Officers who fall into this category may request deferral in writing (AA Form) via the first O-6 officer in their chain of command to HQMC (MMOA-1) NLT 2359 4 January 2024.
4.a. Officers that are unable to report during the prescribed date will coordinate an updated timeline through the respective District XOs, their losing commands, and their respective monitor.
4.b. Officers selected as primaries who have not yet accepted Career Designation (CD) will be offered CD in conjunction with this assignment. Retention & Release Officer (RRO), MMOA-3 will notify all officers being offered CD via Marine Online (MOL). Officers offered CD must accept or decline the offer by responding to the MOL message no later than 2359 7 December 2023. Officers who do not respond to this offer by the deadline will be considered as having declined CD and will execute their existing EAS.
4.c. Declinations. Only officers whose end of obligated service ends prior to the report date to their specific command may decline orders. Officers eligible to decline this assignment have until 2359 7 December 2023 to decline their selection. Officers who decline the offer of CD in conjunction with this panel selection will execute their current EAS IAW MCO 1001.65A. Officers who elect to decline their selection are deemed as resigning in lieu of orders. Officers who resign in lieu of orders will exit the service NLT the last day of the month they were required to report to their future unit. Officers choosing to resign in lieu of orders will exit the service NLT 31 May 2024.
4.d. Officers listed above who will screen on the February 2024 Captain Promotion Selection Board must be selected for promotion to retain their selection status.
