GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Congratulations to the Guardians of the U.S. Space Force on their 4th Anniversary as an independent service.
2.  Since December 20, 2019, the Space Force’s Guardians have capably led the way in sustaining our Nation’s competitive edge in space.  To date, military satellite communications and missile warning systems have been consolidated under the Space Force’s purview, while Guardians continue operating space-based navigational, reconnaissance, and network capabilities critical to the Joint Force's success on the battlefield.  This year, as Guardians train to take the fight to America’s adversaries, the Space Force activated its first targeting squadron dedicated to counterspace operations.  In just four years, Guardians have set the foundation for a proud legacy of innovation and success.
3.  The Marine Corps looks forward to strengthening our partnership with the Space Force in the years to come.  Marines are proud to serve alongside Guardians in the defense of our great nation.  Happy Birthday Guardians and Semper Supra.
