GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  This message announces the convening of the 2024 DC Information Summit (Info Summit), 22-23 May 2024 in Quantico, VA and provides planning guidance for attendance.
2.  Overview and Purpose.  The Deputy Commandant for Information will convene the Info Summit from 22 to 23 May 2024 at Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) MCB Quantico, VA.  The purpose of the Info Summit is to gain inputs, consensus, and decision on information warfare equities that contribute to Force Design and make decisions on information related policy, programmatic, and occupational field issues.
2.a.  Outputs.  Outputs from the Info Summit will inform Fiscal Year (FY) 26 Marine Corps Program Objective Memorandum priorities and FY25 execution year priorities.  The Info Summit will provide inputs into Marine Corps and external(DoN, Joint and mission partner) organization B2C2WG events that shape information warfare programs and policies, including the FY 25 Marine Corps Information Environment Executive Board, the Marine Requirements Oversight Council, the Ground, Aviation and Logistics boards and the DOTMLPF-WG.
2.b.  Primary audience.  The primary invitees are Marine Forces Commanders, Marine Expeditionary Force Commanders, Deputy Commandants (DC), Marine Information Group Commanders and supporting establishment General Officers, Senior Executives, and their respective key staff members.  Invitees may send a delegate if they are unable to participate.
3.  Coordinating instructions.
3.a.  The event will be conducted at the TS SCI Level.  The summit will employ JWICS VTC for virtual participation.
3.b.  Schedule overview.  Check-in and badging will occur from 0730 to 0755 on 22 and 23 May 2024 at the MCIA Swain Annex.  The Summit will run 0800 to 1630 daily.  Leveling and decision briefs will be conducted on Wednesday, while Thursday will focus on the Summit's decision.  The info summit will conclude by 1630 on 23 May to facilitate travel.

4.  Administration and logistics.
4.a.  Security.  Info Summit attendees must be cleared for SI/TK/HCS/G to enable unescorted access to the MCIA facilities.
4.a.1.  Send SCI and collateral visit requests via DISS to SMO code: MS51223 NLT 15 May 2024.  Within the visit request, the primary point of contact is Mr. Milo shank, milo.shank1@usmc.mil, phone 703-693-6955. Identify "2024 Information Summit" as the purpose for the visit.
4.a.2.  Attendees must have TS SCI access with HCS and G to gain access to ensure unescorted access within MCIA.  Read-ins must be done through the attendee’s SSO office prior to arrival.  MCIA will not conduct local read ins.
4.a.3.  Cell phones and other portable electronic devices are prohibited in the building.  PED storage is limited.
4.b.  Funding.  Individual commands will provide TAD funding.
4.c.  Attire.  Woodland MARPAT (sleeves up) for Marines and business casual attire for all others for the duration of the conference.
