GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Reference (a) provides the background, objectives, and instructions for the virtual Training Input Plan (TIP) Working Group (WG) being held on 12 and 13 March 2024.  This message provides final guidance to sponsors who must submit formal school training requirements to the TIP WG and requires sponsors to identify any anticipated increase in FY24 or FY25 requirements due to changes in operational requirements or lost training opportunities prior to the convening of the WG.
2.  WG execution.
2.a.  The TIP WG will meet virtually via Microsoft Teams.  To join the virtual team, open Microsoft Teams and select at the bottom left of the screen, "Join or create a team."  Search for team name "FY26 -30 Training Input Plan Working Group."
2.b.  When established, dial-in information will be posted within the virtual team.  If attendees are unable to participate via Teams, use the point of contact provided within this MARADMIN to request dial-in instructions.  Attendees who use Commercial Virtual Remote Teams may need to dial-in.
2.c.  Agendas and other documents will be posted in advance for attendees within the virtual team, under the tab "Files.”  The agenda will also identify sponsors who are expected to attend, as well as sponsors whose attendance is not required.
2.d.  The scope of the TIP WG will only address courses that have more than one sponsor and a total requirement that exceeds course capacity.  For courses not satisfying those two criteria, Student Registrar Branch will validate those requirements outside of the 12 and 13 March WG.  There is no attendance requirement for sponsors whose course requirements do not meet the stated two criteria above.  Sponsors not required to attend the TIP WG will have their FY26 through FY30 TIP inputs verified via the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) Sponsor TIP Tool.
2.e.  For any course that does not meet the criteria per paragraph 2.d., but warrants close attention, the Student Registrar Branch will contact the sponsor(s) of that course to validate attendance. If a sponsor not listed to attend the WG believes a course warrants close attention, please contact Student Registrar Branch to nominate the course.
3.  Sponsor contact information and FY24 and FY25 requirements.
3.a.  No later than 12 March 2024, sponsors will verify accuracy of their contact information in the Student Registrar module.
3.b.  To verify accuracy in MCTIMS, go to Student Registrar module.  At the top of the screen, hover the cursor over "Sponsor."  Click on "Sponsor TIP Tool."  At top left, click on "Sponsor."  In the list provided, find your sponsor code.  At the far left, select the drop-down menu.  Select "Edit Sponsor."
3.c.  No later than 12 March 2024, sponsors will advise Student Registrar Branch of anticipated increases of FY24 or FY25 requirements due to any recently lost training opportunities.
4.  This MARADMIN applies to the Marine Corps Total Force.
5.  Release authorized by Lieutenant General Kevin M. Iiams, Commanding General, Training and Education Command.//
