GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  This MARADMIN provides updates and changes to the current state of the Junior Enlisted Performance Evaluation System (JEPES) Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Qualifications initiative.  After a successful “pilot” program for selected aviation MOSs, the MOS Qualifications initiative has taken effect for all available MOSs. Effective 26 October 2023, All available MOSs identified in the "JEPES MOS Quals Scoring Table all Ranks" link, located within Marine Online, reflects the most current qualifications/certifications and associated point value for each PMOS.
2.  The Mental Agility Pillar weighting for all Marines is as follows: MOS Courses and Qualifications (100 points or 50%), MARINENET (40 points or 20%), Degrees (20 points or 10%), Self-Education In-Grade (20 points or 10%), Self-Education In-Service (20 Points or 10%).  The awarding of points for off-duty education is as follows: Degrees (Associates=10 points, Bachelors=20 Points, Maximum=20 points), Self-Education In Grade (5 points per course, Maximum=20 points), Self-Education In Service (5 points per course, Maximum=20 points).
3.  Occupational Field Sponsors are responsible for identifying and submitting a list of requirements concerning qualifications/certifications for their respective PMOS to MMPB-23 for implementation.  The listing of qualifications/certifications will be reviewed, at a minimum, annually with the Occupational Field Sponsors for determination if any adjustments are deemed necessary. The scoring table in MOL will be updated as changes are made.
4.  Those Marines who complete a course/qualification listed in the "JEPES MOS Quals Scoring Table All Ranks" link have started to receive the associated points added to their Mental Agility score within JEPES.  There will be no retroactive reporting of points for qualifications/certifications completed prior to 26 October 2023.  If a Marine previously completed a qualification/certification prior to 26 October 2023, he/she will receive points for that qualification effective 26 October 2023.
4.a.  Example: A Marine with the PMOS of 0231 completed the Intelligence Server Administration Course on 15 July 2023.  The Marine will receive points for the qualification effective 26 October 2023.
5.  The primary means of reporting the qualifications/certifications depicted within the "JEPES MOS Quals Scoring Table All Ranks" link is at the unit level via the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS).  If the qualification/certification is not available to report via MCTIMS, the Marine will need to have the qualification/certification reported by their local servicing Installation Personnel Administrative Center (IPAC).  When a Marine completes a formal course which results in awarding of an Additional Military Occupational Specialty (AMOS), the AMOS must be reported by the servicing IPAC in accordance with ref b.
6.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
