GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  This MARADMIN solicits Marine Corps nominations for the Calendar Year 2023 (CY23) Department of Defense (DoD) Counterintelligence (CI)/Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Enterprise Awards.
2.  Background.  The DoD CI/HUMINT Enterprise (DCHE) Awards is an annual event to recognize outstanding actions and significant impact of individuals and teams from across the CI/HUMINT community.  The Director, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) invites all eligible organizations to submit nominations to recognize professionals who have through exceptional accomplishments or service, enhanced the standing and stature of the professions, functions, and disciplines that support the CI and HUMINT activities in the DoD.
3.  Execution.
3a.  Personnel interested in nominating civilian or military personnel for the DoD CI/HUMINT Enterprise Awards are directed to contact the MARADMIN points of contact (POCs) for CY23 DoD CI/HUMINT Awards submission requirements.  Each command may submit only one nomination for each category.  For the purposes of this message, a command is defined as any element commanded by an 0-5 or above.  Submit awards directly to Intelligence Division, Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) POCs listed above.  Only nominations endorsed and vetted by a command as defined above, under whose authority the production, collection, training or investigative activity was conducted, will be accepted.  Individuals may not be nominated for individual and team awards for the same achievement.
3b.  The submission deadline to HQMC is 29 March 2024.  No late submission will be accepted.  Please submit your award nominations using an appropriately classified system to match the classification of the award submission.  Templates and detailed instructions for nominations will be provided via ETMS2 on SIPR.
3c.  The Defense Intelligence Enterprise Manager (DIEM) will host the DCHE Awards Ceremony in August 2024 at DIA Headquarters in Washington, DC.  Ceremony details will be provided upon announcement of the award winners.
