Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) National Training Team (NTT) provides professional training and education to all Company Grade Officers assigned as Officer Selection Officers (OSOs) across the nation. Due to the current challenging recruiting environment, MCRC NTT is offering two Officer Selection Officer Courses (OSOC) to ensure the timely and proper training of untrained OSOs assigned to recruiting duty per reference (a). The intent is to provide a training opportunity to those Company Grade Officers who were selected for OSO duty per reference (a) to be fully trained prior to arriving at their Officer Selection MStations (OSS). 2. Coordinating Instructions. 2.a. MCRC NTT will host OSOC on two occasions in FY24. FY24 OSOC Course Offerings Dates OSOC 1-24 29 Apr 24-17 May 24 OSOC 2-24 8-26 Jul 24 2.b. OSOC is required for all Company Grade Officers currently assigned to OSO duty and those officers who are executing orders to OSO duty in FY24. 2.c. OSOC is a Training and Education Command (TECOM) funded course located in Herndon, Virginia. Rental cars are not authorized for this course, and the daily contract rate for lodging is $130.00. 2.d.
