GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Situation. Commandant of the Marine Corps Memorandum dated 20 February 2020 directed Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration (DC, CD&I) as the sole element in Headquarters Marine Corps responsible for requirements development. In place of the Marine Expeditionary Unit Operational Advisory Group (MEU OAG), DC CD&I has established the Marine Expeditionary Unit Summit (MEUSUM) as a collaborative forum for MEU Commanders, Marine Rotational Force (MRF) Commanders, and their staffs to identify capability gaps, exchange best practices/lessons learned, as well as engage with higher level headquarters on evolving concepts, programs, and capabilities.
2. Mission. The FY24 MEUSUM will be conducted 23-25 April 2024 at the General Raymond G. Davis Center (Bldg 3300), Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico.
3. Execution. The MEUSUM will be conducted in person and broadcast via secure video teleconference (SVTC). Plenary/level setting HQMC briefings will be conducted the first half of day one followed by MEU briefings after the lunch break. Day two will continue with MEU and MRF briefings for the first half of the day, concluding with more briefings after lunch. Day three will solely focus on working groups and close-out briefs.
3.a. Concept of Operations
3.a.1. Plenary topics are to be determined.
3.a.2. MEU and MRF hosted briefs will consist of the following: Current/Planned Deployments and Operations, Amphibious Warfare Ship Availability, and Littoral Maneuver.
3.a.3. Working groups will consist of the following:
3.a.3.a. Executive working group for the MEU Commander and Executive Officers or their representatives.
3.a.3.b. Operations working group will be hosted by CD&I and Programs, Policy, and Operations (PP&O).
3.a.3.c. Logistics working group will be hosted by Installations and Logistics (I&L).
3.a.3.d. Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) working group will be hosted by CD&I.
3.a.3.e Landing Force Operational Reserve Material (LFORM) working group will be hosted by CD&I.
4. Administration and Logistics

4.b. Travel funding is the responsibility of the attending command.
4.c. Lodging is available on MCB Quantico and in the local vicinity.

Davis Center, SMO code: M30000 – 30002 CD&I-1. Ensure request point of contact (POC) lists Major Nikk Davis (MExW), (703) 784-4969 as the event POC. Requests must be submitted by 17 April 2024.
4.d.2. Overall classification for this event is SECRET/-/FVEY.
4.e. Uniform is MARPAT (or equivalent) for military and business casual for civilians.
