It is with deep regret I announce the death on 20 March 2024 of General Alfred M. Gray Jr., U.S. Marine Corps, Retired, 29th Commandant of the Marine Corps. 2. In accordance with the reference, all Marine Corps Installations will half-mast the National Ensign until the day of the interment or 7 days, whichever is less.
