GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  In accordance with reference (a), after thorough deliberation by a board of colonels throughout Marine Forces Reserve and concurrence of the Commander, Captain Parke J. Stevens Jr. was selected as the recipient of the Calendar Year (CY) 2023 Chambers Award for Outstanding Leadership.  Captain Stevens Jr. is assigned to 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Force Headquarters Group.
2.  All CY 2023 nominees’ exemplary records demonstrated noteworthy leadership and ability, and your dedication and perseverance reflect great credit upon the Reserve Component and the United States Marine Corps.
