GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. The Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs has authorized the name change of the Opportunity, Diversity, and Inclusion Branch to Culture and Inclusion Branch.  The Branch code (MPE) remains the same.
2. The new name encompasses the roles and responsibilities assumed by the Branch and characterizes the Marine Corps’ ongoing advocacy to maintain an environment of inclusion.  Through both the appropriate administration of regulatory requirements and the promotion of leadership development initiatives, MPE remains committed to leveraging the talents and capabilities of all Marines.
3. Utilize the new name on all correspondence directed to MPE Branch.
