GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Situation. Plans, Policies and Operations, Operations Division (PPO PO) will host the CBRN Defense OAG 24-1 from 09-13 Sep 2024 at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
2. Mission. The purpose of the CBRND OAG is to provide a chartered forum for the CBRND community to identify, prioritize, and provide recommendations on issues that directly impact the operational capabilities, manning, training, equipping, and readiness of the Fleet Marine Force and supporting establishment to the CBRND Occupational Field (OccFld) Sponsor, DC, PP&O.
3. Execution.
3.A. Coordinating instructions.
3.A.1. Command representatives are required to have the authority to speak on behalf of their respective commander on all areas of the 57XX OccFld, and if required, vote on the outcome as briefed to the OAG chair.
3.A.2. OAG meeting location: Pentagon Conference Center, Arlington, VA.
3.A.3. OAG dates are 09-13 Sep 2024, with travel dates of 08 and 14 Sep 2024.
3.A.4. All travel expenses are a unit responsibility.  Attendees shall make every effort to reserve lodging in a hotel provided by PP&O via separate correspondence.  The hotels provided are in close proximity to the OAG location, are within military rates, and directly support OAG costs reduction by being accessible to alternative transportation (Metro, bus, Uber).
3.A.5. Uniform: Attire for civilian attendees is business casual and for military attendees is the service “C” uniform for the week of the OAG.
3.A.6. CBRN Defense OAG 24-1 is restricted to voting members, specified attendees approved by the OAG Chair, reference b, and the below listed units;

4. Administration.
4.A. Transportation and Parking.  Transportation is the responsibility of the attendee.  Rental car use is highly discouraged due to extremely limited parking, high costs of parking and fuel, and abundant accessibility to affordable alternative transportation (Metro, bus, shuttles, uber). Metro card, bus/shuttle schedules, and Uber information will be provided via separate correspondence.
4.B. Cell phones and computers are authorized within the facility except during classified discussion.
4.C. Security Management Office (SMO) contact information in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) will be submitted NLT 1 Aug 2024 to MGySgt Guzman. Verifying security eligibility is absolutely required in order to access the Pentagon and attend classified briefs (minimum Secret Clearance required). If designated attendees do not confirm security eligibility by 1 August, their attendance will be revoked. The SMO is 540080084.

4.E. Information regarding submission of required briefs will be disseminated via SEPCOR.
4.F. Reporting costs.  As sponsor of the CBRN Defense OAG 24-1, PPO PO is required to collect and submit actual cost information.  It is mandatory for attending organizations and representatives to report total liquidation costs for their respective attendees via email to Dr. Kenneth Venable; (703) 692-4250; kenneth.venable.ctr@usmc.mil no later than 15 Oct 2024.
5. Command and signal. PP&O will establish a capability to broadcast the OAG via Video Teleconference Conference (VTC) for those not identified to participate in person.  A final agenda, read-ahead, and any other amplifying information will be disseminated via SEPCOR.
