2.A.  Marine Corps Tactical Publication (MCTP) 13-10H, Tactical Boat Operations, was approved on 1 January 2024.  This publication supersedes MCTP 13-10H (formerly MCWP 3-35.8), Tactical Boat Operations, dated 1 February 2008 and erratum dated 2 May 2016.  It is a reference for tactical boat unit commanders, planners, and operators regarding baseline tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to operate tactical boats.  Other users are unified, joint, and supported commanders and planners responsible for tactical boat employment.  MCTP 13-10H consolidates common tactical boat TTP from the United States Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.  These TTP provide detailed guidance on concepts, tactical boat handling, service capabilities and unique missions, use of force and weapons posture and handling, security zone establishment, defense operations, rear-defense patrolling, planning, and the Department of Defense use-of-force continuum.
2.B.  Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 10-10E.11, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures [MTTP] for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Protection, was approved on 24 January 2024.  This new publication cancels MCRP10-10E.8, MTTP for CBRN Passive Defense, dated 13 May 2016, change one dated 16 May 2018, and change 2 dated 9 September 2021.  It provides a consolidated reference of principles and TTP concerning protection measures for operating within CBRN environments.  The principal audience includes Service personnel and employees of civilian agencies tasked with executing or supporting CBRN operations.
2.C.  MCRP 10-10E.12, MTTP for CBRN Contamination Mitigation, was approved on 24 January 2024.  This new publication cancels MCRP10-10E.8, MTTP for CBRN Passive Defense, dated 13 May 2016, change 1 dated 16 May 2018, and change 2 dated 9 September 2021.  It is a consolidated CBRN contamination mitigation technical reference that presents tactical-level TTP and summarizes existing CBRN contamination mitigation principles, responsibilities, and policies.  The principal audiences are Service personnel including CBRN staff officers and noncommissioned officers; damage control assistants; tactical action officers; battle watch captains; staff weather officers; medical personnel; and others involved in planning, preparing for, executing, and assessing military operations linked to CBRN incident and employees of civilian agencies tasked with executing or supporting CBRN operations.
2.D.  MCRP 3-40D.17, Electric Power Generation and Distribution, was approved on 5 February 2024.  This publication supersedes MCRP3-40D.17, Electric Power Generation and Distribution, dated 6 July 2018.  It is a compilation of TTP from doctrine, lessons learned, and other references that provide an integrated systematic approach to electric power generation, distribution, and management.  It codifies lessons learned and is a comprehensive guide for planning, producing, distributing, and managing electrical power.  MCRP3-40D.17 is suitable for Marine Corps commanders/leaders and staffs at all echelons.  The principal audiences are engineer staff, officers at Marine air-ground task force (MAGTF) headquarters and below, and planners who have staff proponency for electrical power generation and distribution.
2.E.  MCWP 8-10, Information in Marine Corps Operations, was approved on 29 February 2024.  This publication cancels MCWP 3-32, MAGTF Information Operations, dated 1 July 2013, erratum dated 2 May 2016, and change 1 dated 4 April 2018.  MCWP 8-10 addresses the functions of information (generate, preserve, deny, project) by describing a method for commanders and their staffs to plan and integrate information into operations and command activities.  It describes the means for conducting information by identifying those activities across all warfighting functions that can generate information advantages and presents a method to assess the effectiveness of those activities.  MCWP 8-10 is for Marine Corps commanders, their staffs, and personnel to leverage the power of information to gain advantages in all operational types, operations, and command activities.  A complementary video is available at https:(slant)(slant)www.dvidshub.net/video/916514/marine-corps-publishes-warfighting-publication-8-10.
2.F.  MCRP 3-20B.1, MTTP for Airfield Opening, was approved on 1 March 2024.  This publication supersedes MCRP 3-20B.1, MTTP for Airfield Opening, dated 27 October 2018.  It supports operational commanders and staffs by establishing TTP for airfield opening.  MCRP 3-20B.1 provides guidance for operational commanders and staffs on opening and transferring an airfield.  This publication contains information on service capabilities, planning considerations, airfield assessment and surveys, opening the airfield, and transitioning the airfield in all operational environments.  It applies to all commanders, senior airfield authorities, planning staffs, airfield opening forces, air traffic controllers, and support agencies.
2.G.  MCRP 10-10D.1, MTTP for Explosive Ordnance, was approved on 1 March 2024.  This publication supersedes MCRP 10-10D.1, MTTP for Explosive Ordnance, dated 12 March 2020.  It provides guidelines and safety recommendations for planning and operating in an explosive ordnance environment while minimizing the impact of explosive ordnance to friendly operations.  This publication also familiarizes personnel with recognition, appropriate reaction, and reporting procedures for explosive ordnance.  MCRP 10-10D.1 provides information to optimize safety and increase efficiency when dealing with explosive ordnance.  It applies all commanders and their staffs that conduct operations involving explosive ordnance hazards or responsible for force protection.
2.H.  MCTP 3-20G, Air Reconnaissance, was approved on 19 March 2024.  This publication supersedes MCTP 3-20G, Air Reconnaissance, dated 21 July 2003, erratum dated 2 May 2016, and change 1 dated 4 April 2018.  It addresses basic air reconnaissance TTP for planning and executing air reconnaissance operations.  It provides commanders and their staffs, aircrews, uncrewed aerial vehicle operators, and intelligence analysts with air reconnaissance operational principles and capabilities.  MCTP 3-20G addresses how aerial reconnaissance supports the MAGTF’s intelligence warfighting function and provides commanders with timely information.  Additionally, this publication describes how commanders can use air reconnaissance to understand the tactical situation, identify possible courses of action, and assess operational effects.
2.I. MCRP 3-20F.11, Sector Air Defense Commander (SADC) Handbook, was approved on 21 March 2024.  This publication complements and expands on the information in MCTP 3-20C, Antiair Warfare, and MCTP 3-20F, Control of Aircraft and Missiles, by focusing on the details of SADC operations and the SADC’s role in MAGTF, naval, joint, and multinational operations.  It highlights the SADC’s organization, equipment, planning considerations, operational fundamentals, and employment options.  MCRP 3-20F.11 provides the information needed by commanders and staffs to understand and evaluate the operational principles for employing SADCs.
