GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. This MARADMIN announces the FY26 Headquarters Marine Corps Special Duty Assignment (SDA) Summer Roadshow Opportunities Briefing from 11 June 2024 to 18 July 2024. This is Phase III of the calendar year 2024 Manpower Management Enlisted Assignment Roadshow. SDAs and screenable duties are critical to the success of the Marine Corps by providing highly qualified Marines the opportunity to serve in demanding, unique, and rewarding assignments. All eligible or interested Marines are encouraged to attend for information on SDAs and screenable duties.
2. From 11 June 2024 to 18 July 2024, SDA Monitors will conduct two briefs per location and provide a detailed overview of the types of assignments available, requirements for eligibility, additional criteria specific to certain assignments, application processes to include required documentation and deadlines, benefits and incentives, and a dedicated question and answer session to address any concerns or inquiries from attendees.

4. Commanders are encouraged to support attendance at the Opportunities Briefing to ensure eligible personnel are informed and prepared to pursue these career enhancing opportunities.
4.a. All Marines that are eligible to volunteer for an SDA or screenable duty can email the respective SDA monitor listed below if they have any specific questions regarding that area of assignment. Marines are strongly encouraged to reach out to their unit Career Planner with any initial screening or retention based questions.
