GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Happy Birthday to our Navy Corpsmen! The Hospital Corps has been part of our formation since the inception of the Marine Corps and has answered the call “Corpsman Up!” in every conflict since the American Revolution.  Today, 17 June 2024, we honor the dedication and sacrifice of those who have earned the title “Doc.” There is a sacred trust between Marines and their “Docs”, and those serving today are carrying forward a legacy that has been forged on every battlefield throughout our history.   
2.  The Hospital Corps is the heartbeat of battlefield medicine, exemplifying the fighting spirit of our Marine Corps.  Your unwavering dedication to healing and supporting our warriors, whether on the battlefield or here in garrison, is a testament to your pivotal role in our ability to compete, fight, and win.  As we forge ahead, your contributions are vital to maintaining our lethal edge on land or at sea.  Our Marines and Sailors together embody resilience, adaptability, and the indomitable spirit of our fighting force. 
3.  Across the globe, where there are Marines, there are Navy Corpsmen.  As the Marine Corps modernizes for future crisis or conflict, our “Docs” remain central to keeping Marines in the fight and remain “always ready” to answer the call for “Corpsman Up!” We are grateful for your steadfast commitment, your dedicated service, and for remaining “always faithful” to our Marines and Sailors.  Happy 126th Birthday!
