Semper Fit Branch (MFS) is seeking athletes and coaches for the 2025
All-Marine Sports teams.
2. Marines interested in participating in All-Marine Sports are
authorized to apply for both athlete and coaching positions. Marine
coaches are an E-6 or above. Civilians are authorized to apply for
coaching positions only. Prospective coaches are encouraged to
apply immediately. Prospective athletes apply no later than 45 days
prior to the start of the Armed Forces Championship for their
respective sport.
3. Current dates, locations, and the host service for the 2025
calendar year events are below. Information is subject to change.

E-Sports: 5-9 May, Frisco, TX; Navy

Softball: 18-25 August, Oklahoma City, OK; Air Force
Rugby (M): 21-25 August, Glendale, CO; Air Force
Rugby (W): To Be Determined (TBD); Air Force
Basketball: 4-12 October, Camp Pendleton, CA; Marine Corps
Marathon: 23-27 October, Washington, DC; Marine Corps
Flag Football: Calendar Year 26, TBD; first year as an Armed Forces
Sport; accepting coaching applications.
4. For sports with a trial camp, it will take place approximately
two weeks prior and lead up to the start of the Armed Forces
Championship. Head coaches and the All-Marine Sports staff reserve
the right to make appropriate cuts and final roster selection of the
All-Marine team. HQMC MFS will cover all arrangements and costs
related to billeting, transportation (including airfare and rental
vehicles), entry fees, uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
5. All applicants receive approval from their commanding officer to
participate. Commanding officers are strongly encouraged to endorse
All-Marine Sports applications for those who demonstrate our Core
Values and are expected to enhance the reputation of the United
States Marine Corps. Approved participants will be assigned
Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) status, though commanders may
contact MFS to recall participants if necessary.
6. To be considered for participation, prospective athlete
applications for all sports include scores for the following All-
Marine Sports standard testing events: three repetition maximum
(RM) hex-bar or barbell deadlift, bench press, and squat; one RM
Broad Jump and Pro-Agility Test; Forty-Yard Dash; and times for the
three mile and 880-yard events from the most recent fitness tests.

8. In addition to standard performance and skill testing events,
applicants will provide proof of prior competitive experience in
their respective sport (high school, collegiate, Olympic, etc.)
along with any individual and team awards or recognition.
9. A sport-specific performance test will be administered by a
certified strength and conditioning coach during trial camp. The
purpose of this test is to track and evaluate performance data for
high performance athletes. Additionally, the data enables the
strength and conditioning expert an opportunity to design a
training plan tailored to specific Marines and their sport.
10. All athletes and coaches demonstrate a level of competitive
intensity and resolve that is commensurate with the esteemed
traditions and reputation of the United States Marine Corps.
11. Coaches are responsible for a range of duties, including but
not limited to: reviewing applications and selecting athletes and
assistant coaches; offering guidance to prospective players and
coaches on enhancing sport-specific skills or coaching abilities;
organizing and attending the trial camp; coaching the team during
the Armed Forces Championship; and providing an after-action report
to MFS. Additional responsibilities will be detailed upon
selection.
12. This MARADMIN is applicable to active duty, active reserve,
and activated reserve Marines from SMCR. Reserve force Marines,
excluding the Individual Ready Reserve, are eligible to participate
on All-Marine Sports, but are be placed on active duty orders for
operational support or a similar status by their command to
participate and receive HQMC TAD travel funds.
