GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. From 2-10 October 2024, Manpower Management
Enlisted Assignments (MMEA) convened a High Visibility Billet
Board (HVBB) for four Military Occupational Specialties (MOS), 0399,
0491, 0699, and 3537 which selected talented individuals for
priority billets in their MOS. MMEA, in coordination with the four
occupational field specialists, executed it's third year of piloting
a competitive board process to increase transparency and align with
the current tenets of talent management.
2. The following Master Gunnery Sergeants (MGySgt) were selected
for High Visibility Billets (HVB) (read in four columns):

Alternates will be listed alphabetically by full name and MOS.
4. Coordinating Instructions
4.a. Upon receipt of orders, primary selectees have 20 days to
gain 24 months of obligated service from estimated date of arrival
or, submit for retirement in lieu of executing orders effective on
the last day of the reporting month.
4.b. If a billet becomes vacant due to unforeseen circumstances, an
alternate will be selected based on the needs of the Marine Corps.
5. Eligibility criteria:
5.a. 0399 Force Level Command:
5.a.1. 18 months Time on Station (TOS).
5.a.2. Minimum Time in Grade (TIG) of 18 months at report date.
5.a.3. All Marines screened have served at the regimental level.
5.b. 0399 Major Subordinate Command:
5.b.1. 18 months TOS.
5.b.2. Minimum TIG of 18 months at report date.
5.b.3. All Marines screened have served at either the battalion or
regimental level.
5.c. 0399 High Visibility Billet Level:
5.c.1. 18 months TOS.
5.c.2. Minimum TIG of 18 months at report date.
5.c.3. All Marines screened have served at the battalion level.
5.d. 0491 High Visibility Billet Level: 18 months TOS.
5.e. 0699 High Visibility Billet Level:
5.e.1. 6 months TOS.
5.e.2. Not currently assigned to a HVB.
5.f. 3537 High Visibility Billet Level:
5.f.1. 18 months TOS.
5.f.2. Minimum TIG of 18 months at report date.
5.f.3. All Marines screened have served at the regimental level or
above.
6. Ineligibility criteria. Marines with approved overseas
extension or retirements were not considered.
7. Administration and Logistics. TOS will be simultaneously
approved based on the results of the MARADMIN. All Marines were
taken in consideration based on questionnaire submissions.
