GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) requires
high caliber company grade officers for assignment as Recruiting
Station (RS) Operations Officers (OpsOs), Executive Officers (XOs),
and Officer Selection Officers (OSOs) across the nation who are
dedicated to recruiting high quality men and women to earn the title
"Marine". A panel consisting of staff from Manpower Management
Officer Assignments (MMOA) and MCRC convened from 20 to 22 August
2024 to identify and select 58 officers from over 800 eligible
officers for assignment during Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25).

3. Alternates
3.a. The list of officers selected as alternates will be published
via the MMOA website on the FY25 MCRC Company Grade Selection panel
information page. The alternate list will be published at the
following CAC protected website:
https://www.manpower.marines.mil/Manpower-Management/
Officer-Assignments/#tab/who-we-are.
The list will be posted alphabetically by full name and MOS. No
action is required by officers on this list. PMOS monitors will
contact officers if a need arises for an alternate to fleet up to
fill a vacancy.
4. The release of this MARADMIN is considered official notification
of orders for officers listed in paragraph 2. Officers selected by
this panel will be issued orders to report NLT 31 May 2025 unless
instructed otherwise by your monitor. Officers listed with a
(Winter 24) next to their name will be issued orders to report
during the 2024 off-cycle in coordination with the gaining and
losing Commands. Headquarters Marine Corps will not accept
deferrals. Consideration will be given to those in deployed status
and unable to execute orders. Officers who fall into this category
may request deferral in writing (AA Form) via the first O-6 officer
in their chain of command to HQMC (MMOA-1) NLT 2359 01 December
2024.
4.a. Officers that are unable to report during the prescribed date
will coordinate an updated timeline through the respective District
XOs, their losing commands, and their respective monitor.
4.b. Officers selected as primaries who have not yet accepted
Career Designation (CD) will be offered CD in conjunction with this
assignment. Retention & Release Officer (RRO), MMOA-3 will notify
all officers being offered CD via Marine Online (MOL). Officers
offered CD must accept or decline the offer by responding to the MOL
message no later than 2359 01 December 2024. Officers who do not
respond to this offer by the deadline will be considered as having
declined CD and will execute their existing EAS.
4.c. Declinations. Only officers whose end of obligated service
ends prior to the report date to their specific command may decline
orders. Officers eligible to decline this assignment have until
2359 01 December 2024 to decline their selection. Officers who
decline the offer of CD in conjunction with this panel selection
will execute their current EAS IAW MCO 1001.65A. Officers who elect
to decline their selection are deemed as resigning in lieu of orders
and will exit the service NLT the last day of the month they were
required to report to their future unit.
4.d. Officers listed above who will screen on the February 2025
Captain All Fully Qualified Selection Board must be selected for
promotion to retain their selection status.
