GENTEXT/REMARKS/
1.  Per Ref (a), Deputy Commandant for Combat Development &
Integration (DC CD&I) serves as the Headquarters, Marine Corps agency
responsible for the oversight and standardized training of all
Occupational Field (OccFld) Managers and Military Occupational
Specialty (MOS) Specialists.
2.  Aligned with these responsibilities, DC CD&I hosts an annual
professional development symposium designed to provide education
regarding the Marine Corps Human Resource Development Process.
3.  This message announces the Fiscal Year 2025 OccFld Management
Symposium scheduled to occur 7-8 January 2025.  Opening remarks will
commence at 0800 on 7 January 2025.
3.a.  The symposium will be held at the Gray Research Center
Auditorium (Base Library) 2040 Broadway Street Quantico Virginia
22134. Parking is available directly across the street from the Gray
Research Center.
3.b.  All actively serving OccFld Managers and MOS Specialists are
highly encouraged to attend.
3.c.  Uniform for the symposium is the woodland pattern Marine Corps
Combat utility uniform.
3.d.  Funding for travel and transportation are the responsibility of
the attendee and the parent command.
4.  DC CD&I Total Force Structure Division maintains tools and
resources to assist OccFld Managers and MOS Specialists in addressing
manning and staffing challenges within the Marine Corps Total Force,
accessible on its SharePoint at

5. An open survey is available via the OccFld Management Teams
channel (access restricted) for OccFld Managers and MOS Specialists
who wish to provide input on topics and areas of interest to be
discussed at the symposium. Feedback must be received no later than
13 December 2024.
