GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Career Communications Group, Incorporated will
host the 39th Becoming Everything You Are (BEYA) - Science,
Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Global Competitiveness
Conference 13-15 February 2025 at the Baltimore Convention Center, 1
W. Pratt Street, Baltimore, Maryland.
2. BEYA STEM is an annual, three-day conference that brings
industry professionals and students together to share their
experiences and career information. Attendees can network with
others from around the country while participating in seminars and
workshops that explore every facet of STEM career paths. The goal
of BEYA STEM is to create connections between students, educators,
and STEM military professionals while facilitating partnerships with
individuals and their local STEM resources. BEYA STEM is a non-
federal entity wholly independent of the Marine Corps. More

3. During the conference, attendees will benefit from candid and
insightful discussions with public service leaders and amongst
themselves. Additionally, this event offers mutually beneficial
educational opportunities that provide participants and the Service
with a greater understanding of how to work with and capitalize on
the differences and strengths within our Corps.
4. Subject to conference approval, Headquarters United States
Marine Corps, Manpower Plans and Policy Division (MP) will sponsor
conference registration fees and travel expenses for this event. MP
will fund travel for five days with the travel days being 12 and 16
February 2025. Lodging reimbursement is limited to the government
rate with travelers utilizing the Integrated Lodging Program as
applicable. Commands may authorize rental cars using unit funds.
5. Participants require a command endorsement before applying for
sponsored attendance from the first commander in the applicant’s
chain of command. Endorsements must be emailed to the following
email address: smb_mpe_outreach@usmc.mil. The sponsorship
application and command endorsement template can be found on the
following website: https:(slash)(slash)www.manpower.marines.mil/Plan
s-and-Policies/Manpower-Plans-and-Policy/Culture-and-Inclusion-MPE/
Marine-Corps-Outreach/. Individuals who submit a sponsorship
application will receive an email with coordinating instructions, if
approved by MP for attendance, after the application deadline.
Sponsorship applications must be submitted no later than 0800 (EST),
20 January 2025. Attendees must have a government travel charge
card in their possession and a DTS profile joined to their
respective unit.
6. Reserve Marines within the Selected Reserve require approval
from the first O-4 commander in their chain of command to be
considered for participation. Reserve commands are required to
attach their Marines to their unit while attending the conference
using command funding. MP will fund their registration and all
travel expenses during the traveling period of the conference.
7. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
