GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  I have approved the selection of Captain Stephen
P. Knego, 3d Littoral Combat Team, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d
Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps
Forces, Pacific, as the recipient of the CY2024 Leftwich Trophy for
outstanding leadership for performance while serving as a company
commander within 3d Marine Division.  As expected, the competition
was exceptionally keen.  All nominees had exemplary records which
indicated noteworthy leadership and command ability.
