SUBJ/127TH HOSPITAL CORPS BIRTHDAY MESSAGE//
GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. As we continue our celebration of the United
States Marine Corps' 250th year, it is with immense pride and
profound gratitude that I wish the United States Navy Hospital Corps
a Happy 127th Anniversary. Navy Hospital Corpsmen have secured an
enduring legacy serving side by side with Marines for over a
century, proving time and time again to be indispensable
teammates. Their unwavering dedication to the health and well-being
of Marines around the globe is critical to our operational readiness
and mission success. From life-saving care on the battlefield to
sustaining the health of our force at home, their medical expertise,
unyielding compassion, and courage preserve our ethos and highlight
the meaning of esprit de corps.
2. As we reflect on the Marine Corps' 250 years of service to our
Nation, we pause today to recognize the skill, courage, and selfless
service of our Navy Corpsmen. I offer my deepest appreciation to
every Hospital Corpsman, past and present, who has served with
commitment and unwavering professionalism alongside the United
States Marine Corps answering the call for “Corpsman Up!”
3. Congratulations on 127 years of selfless and exceptional
service!
