publications were approved during Q3 of FY25. Unless otherwise
stated, the publications are available via the Marine Corps Doctrine

card unable to access the publications can request enhanced

1.a. Marine Corps Warfighting Publication (MCWP) 8-20, Marine Corps
Space Operations was approved on 9 June 2025. This new publication
builds on the foundational principles outlined in Marine Corps
Doctrinal Publication 8, Information and in MCWP 8-10, Information
in Marine Corps Operations. This publication provides a baseline
for ensuring that space domain considerations are properly understood
and integrated to accomplish the mission.
This publication is releasable to Federal employees and contractors
(FEDCON) only and is not available on the MCPEL website.
1.b. MCWP 11-10, Marine Corps Legal Support, was approved on
1 May 2025. This publication outlines the two types of legal
support, the six functions of legal support, how the Marine Corps
legal community is organized, and the role of judge advocates in the
planning process. This publication supersedes MCWP 11-10, Marine
Corps Legal Support dated 19 June 2018.
1.c. Marine Corps Tactical Publication (MCTP) 13-10F, Naval Beach
Group Operations, was approved on 30 April 2025. This Navy-led,
multi-Service publication discusses the organization, employment,
missions, and capabilities of the Naval beach groups and their
subordinate commands. This publication supersedes MCTP 13-10F,
Naval Beach Group Operations, dated February 2016. This publication
is authorized for release to U.S. Government agencies (FED ONLY) and
is not available on the MCPEL website.
1.d. MCTP 13-10J, Naval Mine Warfare Vol. 1, was approved on
30 April 2025. This Navy-led, multi-Service publication presents a
top-level overview of mine warfare from the operational level and
establishes links to other documents critical to understanding
operational planning and execution. This publication supersedes
MCTP 13-10J, Naval Mine Warfare Vol. 1, dated May 2020. This
Publication is releasable to FEDCON only and is not available on the
MCPEL website.
1.e. MCTP 3-31B, Marine Air-Ground Task Force Targeting, was
approved on 25 April 2025. This new publication provides the
doctrinal basis for planning, conducting, and assessing targeting
activities in support of Marine Air-Ground Task Force operations,
with focus on the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF). Applicable to
all Fleet Marine Force echelons, it addresses targeting
considerations for activities across the competition continuum and
provides MEF specific guidance for other targeting methodologies.
1.f. Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 3-30B.1, Multi-
Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for Multi-Service
Brevity Codes, was approved on 25 April 2025. This publication
standardizes air-to-air, air-to-surface, surface-to-air, surface-to-
surface, maritime-to-air, and maritime-to-maritime brevity codes
regardless of communication medium (voice/chat), and brevity codes
(abbreviations) specific for use in tactical chat. The scope is
limited to brevity codes used in multi-Service operations. All
Services agree to these brevity code meanings. These brevity codes
have been forwarded to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
for inclusion or modification of the NATO Allied Procedural
Publication-7, Joint Brevity Words, and other allied
communications publications. This publication supersedes MCRP
3-30B.1, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for
Multi-Service Brevity Codes, dated 7 March 2023.
1.g. MCRP 7-20C.1, Marine Corps Physical Fitness, was approved on
11 April 2025. This new publication contains guidance for Marines
on how to develop and sustain physical fitness that prepares them
for the rigorous physical demands the Marine Corps
requires. This publication provides a comprehensive approach to
physical fitness that broadens the scope and creates a more dynamic
physical fitness mindset.
1.h. MCTP 10-10A, Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures
(MTTP)for the Employment of Nonlethal Weapons, was approved
7 April 2025. This publication provides an overview on nonlethal
weapons and their employment considerations. This publication
supersedes MCTP 10-10A, MTTP for the Employment of Nonlethal Weapons,
dated 28 May 2020.
1.i. MCRP 3-31.5, MTTP for Dynamic Targeting, was signed
28 March 2025. This multi-Service, Air Land Sea Space Application
Center-facilitated publication highlights tactics, techniques, and
procedures common to Dynamic Targeting, presents best practices, and
includes key lessons learned from combat and major exercises.
It describes commanders’ objectives and guidance; multi-Service
command and control, execution procedures;
and planning, coordinating, organizing and training for dynamic
targeting. This publication is releasable to FEDCON only and is not
available on the MCPEL website.
This publication supersedes MCRP 3-31.5, Dynamic Targeting,
dated 5 January 2022.
