SUBJ/LABOR DAY MESSAGE 2025//
GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Just as our Armed Forces stand watch for our 
freedom, America’s workers power our prosperity.  Their drive, 
discipline, and determination have long been the foundation of our 
economy.  Labor Day is a time to recognize their role in building 
and sustaining our Nation and to honor the generations of workers 
who have shaped our success.
2.  As innovation accelerates and the threat landscape grows more 
complex, we rely on the skill and creativity of our Marines, 
civilian teammates, and industry partners to stay ahead.  The same 
is true of America’s labor force, whose efforts continue to fuel our 
national strength.  Today, we recognize the people whose work keeps 
this country moving forward.
3.  Labor Day also marks the end of summer and a chance to rest and 
recharge.  As you celebrate, remember that you are our most 
important asset.  Use good judgment. Look out for your fellow 
Marines. 
4.  Enjoy the holiday, be safe, and take care of each other.
