GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Purpose. This MARADMIN directs updates to
Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) codes, per reference (A),in the
Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) to
ensure accurate training documentation and readiness reporting.
Effective immediately, Fleet Marine Force (FMF) units shall use only
the following codes for TCCC training in MCTIMS:
a. TB TCCC-Tier 1 All Service Members ASM (B-300-2010)
b. TD TCCC-Tier 2 Combat Lifesaver CLS (B-300-2020)
c. TE TCCC-Tier 3 Combat Medic/Corpsman CM/C (B-300-2030)
d. TF TCCC-Tier 4 Combat Paramedic/Provider CP/P (B-300-2040)
e. TG TCCC-Tier 3 CM/C Trainer (B-300-2070)
f. TH TCCC-Tier 4 CP/P Trainer (B-300-2080)
2. Background. A review of MCTIMS revealed that TCCC Tier 4 was
not available for documenting training status. Alignment with BUMED
standards necessitated new training codes in MCTFS and MCTIMS,
prompting this MARADMIN to ensure FMF-wide awareness and compliance.
3. Ninety (90) days from this MARADMIN's release, the following
legacy codes shall be archived and unavailable for new entries or
reporting:
a. T1 Tactical Combat Casualty Care – ASM
b. T2 Tactical Combat Casualty Care – CLS
c. T3 Tactical Combat Casualty Care – CM/C
d. T4 Tactical Combat Casualty Care – CP/P
e. T5 Tactical Combat Casualty Care – Tier 1 ASM Trainer
f. T6 Tactical Combat Casualty Care – Tier 2 CLS Trainer
g. T7 Tactical Combat Casualty Care – Tier 3 CM/C Trainer
h. T8 Tactical Combat Casualty Care – Tier 4 CP/P Trainer
4. During the 90-day transition, FMF units, in coordination with
local G-3s, shall:
a. Convert all existing TCCC rosters from legacy codes to new codes
via MCTIMS training modules.
b. Verify that updated TCCC requirements in MCTIMS reflect
individual billet-specific tiers only, preventing blanket
assignments across all tiers. Such assignments have caused data
inaccuracies and readiness reporting errors.
c. Note that higher-tier certifications (e.g., Tier 2)
inherently meet lower-tier standards; do not certify or document
lower tiers redundantly.
d. Commands shall prioritize these actions to maintain training
record integrity. Non-compliance may result in degraded readiness
metrics.
5. Commanding Generals, Commanders, and Officers-in-Charge shall
ensure all personnel comply with this guidance.
