SUBJ/NAVY CHAPLAIN CORPS 250th BIRTHDAY//
GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  On 28 November 2025, we celebrate the 250th
birthday of our Navy Chaplain Corps.  On behalf of Marines
everywhere, I wish our chaplains a heartfelt happy birthday and
I thank you for your steadfast service.  Chaplains go wherever
Marines go.  You are with us on remote battlefields, aboard ships
on the high seas, in field tents with the wounded, and on bases and
stations reaching out to Marines, Sailors, and families offering
the power of faith and purpose.
2.  Chaplains are essential to making Marines and strengthening
our character.  You are always faithful, always present, and
always ready.  As we look to the next 250 years, we move forward
knowing chaplains will continue to point us toward the Divine and
lead us to find inner strength from higher purpose.  To all Navy
Chaplains, Happy 250th Birthday.
