SUBJ/UNITED STATES SPACE FORCE SIXTH ANNIVERSARY//
GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  On behalf of all Marines, I extend a heartfelt
congratulations to the United States Space Force on the occasion of 
its sixth anniversary as an independent branch of the United States 
Armed Forces.   
2.  Since its establishment on 20 December 2019, the Space Force has 
advanced America's interests in space and served as a vital enabler 
of the Joint Force in its operations in other domains.  Guardians 
are at the forefront of maintaining the vital communications, 
precise navigation, and actionable intelligence systems that 
underpin success on the modern battlefield.  As space becomes an 
increasingly competitive and contested domain, the Space Force's 
role in safeguarding our space-based assets and ensuring freedom of 
action in orbit is more crucial now than ever.  Its innovative 
approach to integrating capabilities and fostering partnerships has 
been pivotal in securing our Nation's advantage.
3.  The Marine Corps deeply appreciates the cutting-edge support and
unwavering reliability provided by the Space Force.  As we continue 
to adapt our force for future conflicts and distributed operations, 
Marines know they can depend on Guardians as the critical 
space-based enablers that enhance our lethality, connectivity, and 
situational awareness  across all domains.  The Space Force's 
dedication ensures that our forces possess the dominant edge 
required to deter aggression and prevail against any adversary.
4.  To all Guardians, know that Marines are proud to stand alongside 
you.  We share a common commitment to innovation, joint excellence, 
and the relentless pursuit of victory in the defense of the United
