GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. In celebration of America’s 250th 
Birthday, Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) 
proudly announces the 2nd Annual MCCS Unit Birthday 
Ball Fund Contest. This initiative is designed to 
support units as they prepare for this milestone 
occasion in the storied history of our country and 
Corps.
2. Through 31 July 2026, units are invited to enter 
daily for a chance to win $5,000 towards their Marine 
Corps Birthday Ball. 
3. A total of ten (10) units across various categories 
will be selected based on the total number of entries:
3.a. Five (5) $5,000 prizes for Remote and Isolated 
Units (e.g., recruiting stations and Inspector-
Instructor staffs).
3.b. Two (2) $5,000 prizes for Small Units (e.g., 
battalions and squadrons).
3.c. Two (2) $5,000 prizes for Medium Units (e.g., 
regiments and Marine Aircraft Groups).
3.d. One (1) $5,000 prize for Large Units (e.g., 
divisions, wings, Marine Logistics Groups).
4. This is your opportunity to continue honoring 
Marine Corps traditions and celebrate our history with 
the same pride, camaraderie, and esprit de corps that 
define each unit. Widespread participation is
