GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. This Marine Administrative Message (MARADMIN)
announces the Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) United States Marine Corps
(USMC) Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) Promotion Selection
Board (PSB) schedule and provides additional guidance regarding
enlisted promotions. The FY27 USMC SNCO PSB schedule is:

GySgt 12 Jan 2027 (8 weeks)

SMCR/IRR SNCO 07 Jul 2027 (3.5 weeks)
2. Board Correspondence.
2.a. All correspondence submitted to the President of the board
must be received no later than 2359, Eastern Standard Time (EST) 10
days prior to the convene date of the applicable board.
2.b. For timely receipt and response, eligible Marines are
encouraged to submit a signed Portable Document Format (PDF)
via email to the email listed in paragraph 4.a. below.
3. For additional details regarding Marine responsibilities,
commander responsibilities, board eligibility, removal from
consideration, professional military education requirements, and
alternate selections visit the Enlisted Promotions website at
