GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. PER THE REFERENCES, THIS MESSAGE ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF THE FY11-4 AND FY12-1 CALL FOR STUDIES AND PROVIDES THE UPDATED FY12 MARINE CORPS STUDIES MASTER PLAN.
2. TIER I STUDIES ARE CONSIDERED APPROPRIATE STUDIES THAT MEET THE CRITERIA PROVIDED IN REFERENCE (A) AS DELINEATED BY CMC AND CG MCCDC AND WILL COMMENCE ASAP. TIER II NOMINATIONS ARE THOSE FOUND TO BE SOUND ANALYTICALLY AND WORTHY OF EXECUTION, BUT LESS COMPETITIVE THAN TIER I STUDIES IN SOME RESPECT. TIER II STUDIES MAY BE EXECUTED, CONTINGENT UPON AVAILABLE RESOURCES.
