GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  THIS MARADMIN PROVIDES FY11 FTAP PROGRESS AT THE CLOSE OF THE FIRST QUARTER.
2.  TO DATE, REENLISTMENT RATES FOR FY11 ARE AHEAD OF THOSE DURING THE SAME PERIOD IN FY10:
A.  5,269 BOATSPACES OUT OF THE FY11 FTAP MISSION OF 6,835 BOATSPACES HAVE BEEN FILLED. 1,566 BOATSPACES REMAIN. DURING THE SAME PERIOD LAST YEAR, 5,139 BOATSPACES WERE FILLED WITH 1,896 BOATSPACES REMAINING.
B.  46 MOS'S HAVE CLOSED IN FY11 AS COMPARED TO 41 DURING THE SAME PERIOD IN FY10.
3.  COMMANDERS, SNCOIC'S, CAREER PLANNERS, AND LEADERS ARE COMMENDED FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING EFFORTS IN RETAINING THE MOST QUALIFIED MARINES.
4.  DESPITE RECORD PROGRESS, WE MUST STAY ENGAGED. WHILE BOATSPACES REMAIN IN THE TARGET POPULATION, THIS DEMOGRAPHIC WILL RAPIDLY DECREASE. MANY BOATSPACES STILL REMAIN OPEN.
