GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. THIS MARADMIN ANNOUNCES THE 2013 DIVERSITY TASK FORCE SURVEY. PER THE REFERENCES, THIS SURVEY IS PART OF THE OVERALL COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF DIVERSITY IN THE CORPS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO IDENTIFY THE PERCEPTIONS OF MARINE CORPS OFFICERS AND SENIOR ENLISTED MARINES REGARDING DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION PRACTICES WITHIN THE MARINE CORPS. THE SURVEY RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO EXAMINE THE VALIDITY OF CURRENT DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION POLICIES AND PRACTICES.
2. THE SURVEY IS VOLUNTARY AND AVAILABLE TO ALL ACTIVE DUTY, ACTIVE RESERVE AND SELECTED MARINE CORPS RESERVE OFFICERS AND SENIOR ENLISTED MARINES IN THE GRADES OF MASTER SERGEANTS, MASTER GUNNERY SERGEANTS, FIRST SERGEANTS, AND SERGEANTS MAJOR, COMMAND ENDORSEMENT AND SUPPORT IS CRITICAL TO THE SUCCESS OF THIS SURVEY.
3. THE RESULTS OF THE SURVEY WILL PROVIDE DATA TO SUPPORT THE COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW PROVIDED TO THE EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP OF THE CORPS TO ASSIST IN DETERMINING THE WAY AHEAD FOR DIVERSITY. THE DATA COLLECTED IN THIS STUDY WILL REMAIN ANONYMOUS AND CONFIDENTIAL. ALL REFERENCES TO INDIVIDUAL IDENTITY WILL BE REMOVED PRIOR TO THE PREPARATION OF THE RESEARCH REPORTS AND PUBLICATIONS.
