GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. THIS IS A JOINTLY COORDINATED MESSAGE BETWEEN HQMC C4 CY, MARINE CORPS NETWORK OPERATIONS SECURITY CENTER (MCNOSC), AND MCSC.
2. A CHANGE TO THE CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION PROCESS IS NECESSARY DUE TO HIGH VOLUMES OF CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION REMEDY TROUBLE TICKETS SUBMITTED BY THE OPERATING FORCES. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, MARINE CORPS CUSTOMERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT REMEDY TROUBLE TICKETS TO REQUEST HQMC CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION ACTIVITIES AND TO RECEIVE FOLLOW-ON CUSTOMER SERVICE ACTIONS INCLUDING STATUS, FOLLOW-UP, AND OPEN(SLASH)CLOSURE OF HQMC CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION REMEDY TROUBLE TICKETS.
2.A. HQMC CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION ACTIVITIES INCLUDES:
2.A.1 MARINE CORPS CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION SUPPORT TOOL (MCCAST) ACCOUNTS CREATION.
2.A.2 TROUBLESHOOTING, MODIFICATION AND DELETIONS.
2.A.3 MCCAST PROJECT CREATION, TROUBLESHOOTING, MODIFICATION OR DELETION.
2.A.4 MCCAST ROLE ASSIGNMENT OR MODIFICATION.
2.A.5 MCCAST TASK REVIEW, APPROVALS, AND STATUS.
2.A.6 DIACAP PACKAGE REVIEW, AUTHORITY TO OPERATE (ATO) AND AUTHORITY TO CONNECT (ATC) REQUESTS.
2.A.7 REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION INQUIRIES REGARDING THE CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION PROCESS.
3. REMEDY USER ACCESS ACCOUNTS SHOULD BE REQUESTED VIA THE RESPECTIVE REGIONAL MARINE AIR-GROUND TASK FORCE (MAGTF) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT CENTER (MITSC). ONCE REQUESTED AND THE ACCOUNT CREATED, THE INDIVIDUAL USER WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO CREATE THEIR OWN REMEDY TROUBLE TICKETS FOR SUBMISSION TO THE HQMC CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION TEAM.
4. AS TECHNICAL AUTHORITY FOR THE MARINE CORPS ENTERPRISE (MCEN), THE SYSTEM ENGINEERING,INTEROPERABILITY, ARCHITECTURES AND TECHNOLOGY (SIAT) CYBER ENGINEERING DIVISION (CE) WILL PROVIDE DIRECT OVERSIGHT ON ALL CERTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ALL MARINE CORPS SYSTEMS COMMAND (MCSC) AND PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICER-LAND SYSTEMS (PEO-LS) PROGRAMS, SYSTEMS, AND WEB-BASED APPLICATIONS SUPPORTING PROGRAM OF RECORDS (PORS), RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT TESTING AND EVALUATION (RDT AND E), AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN THE ACQUISITION PROCESS UNDER THEIR COGNIZANCE. AS SUCH, ALL TROUBLE TICKET REQUESTS FOR MCSC CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION ACTIONS WILL BE DIRECTED TO MCSC FOR ACTION.
5. FOR PROGRAMS OF RECORD (POR) NOT CONTROLLED BY MCSC, SIAT AND HQMC C4 CY SHALL DEFINE THE REMEDY TICKET PROCESS NLT 90 DAYS FROM THE RELEASE OF THIS MARADMIN.
